"What good is reading the bill if it’s a thousand pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?" Interestingly enough, it was Conyers' own supposed ability to understand the law that made him a viable candidate for Congress to begin with.
Blog comment: Maybe someone will introduce a bill to ban all numb-skulls from holding a Congressional seat and name it “ Term-Limit Reform Bill”. John and his flock will sign it without reading it and Presto!, bye-bye to all the leaders in Congress.
